So about 4 years ago I was helping a friend with his food truck at a local Harley dealership (names not mentioned to protect the not so innocent😆) for an event they were having...the guest was ...you guessed it..."the Ornery One". Well I had never heard of this person but let me tell you... he has a presence! When I met TJ... he was the sweetest.. kindest...biggest teddy bear ever...so I thought to myself...how could this guy be so "Ornery"... ??? I started following his page and at the time it was on a different platform...that ended up getting "hacked"...so I had to close that account🙄. Fast forward about 2 years... We came across him again and this time it was a whole new platform...YouTube... Facebook and Instagram... and seriously when it says "the Ornery one" yeah he's a tad Ornery 😂. But I digress... we signed up to support them...and by them...I mean TJ and Stephanie... the Ornery One and his Ornery Squaw. Being an Ornery Ass isn't a title... it is supporting not only them but it is supporting a lifestyle...a culture... a breed if you will. An Ornery Ass is someone who will help another if they can! Thru this support...we have gained so many new friendships and oh the memories!! The adventures we have been on and the people we have met!!! This is a group designed to share Pay It Forward opportunities, stay up-to-date on the latest campaign, meet others who have also been impacted by similar situations. Biker's Pay It Forward Charity events that are hosted by Biker's Pay It Forward or Biker's Pay It Forward was involved - be part of our next Biker's Pay It Forward campaign! current event: We have been preparing to hold our next Pay It Forward this holiday season. During Biketoberfest in Daytona, Florida we had the opportunity to meet with Dave (Custom Dynamics) & Nicole to record & do a little interview type filming. Her story is one that she decided to document from the beginning! Deciding to document her journey was decided for a few reason… 1) this was therapy for her to mentally & emotionally deal with the diagnosis 2) she is a very positive individual & one who loves her job which is actually a nurse. It is instilled in her to help others & be the light of love & happiness to those around her! One of her goals is to bring awareness to anyone going through the same situations… she wants to be that shoulder to cry on, she wants to be that phone call when you feel like you have no where to turn. The 1st annual Legacy Ride was held during Bikes Blues & BBQ in Roger's Arkansas at Pig Trail Harley-Davidson as Biker's Pay It Forward helped All Kids Bike with their mission: Teach every child in America how to ride a bike in kindergarten PE class! Biker's Pay It Forward is teaming up with All Kids Bike to help Arkansas children learn to ride on 2 wheels! The Legacy Ride was a great hit which include special guest riders & appearances from NASCAR Legend Rusty Wallace, Jesse James Dupree from Jackyl & Paul Teutul Sr from Orange County Choppers! The ride was hosted by The Ornery One and sponsored by Rainwater Holt and Sexton all benefitting All Kids Bike but please note... kids in Northwest Arkansas!! That's right, our future riders are getting the opportunity to learn to ride on 2 wheels by the end of kindergarten class all thanks to All Kids Bike's mission. We started our ride at Pig Trail Harley-Davidson in Rogers, AR which took us 59 miles through the scenic Ozark Mountains, Eureka Springs & War Eagle with a catered lunch & time to just hangout! The ROT Rally® is held at the Travis County Expo Center, and is widely known for its downtown Austin bike parade, which closes off more than 50 city blocks and ends on Congress Avenue in front of the Texas State Capitol.
